Classic Nicole Moments

34
If you know me at all, then you are more than likely quite aware of the amazing talent I've been given of being able to embarrass myself at least once every single day...  and no unfortunately I am not exaggerating.

Being in the midst of midterms and essay deadlines I find myself constantly bombarded from what I call the stress storm which leaves me just so cold and by the end of most days I am so drained that I can never get into bed fast enough---the coldness may also be due to the fact that I'm missing my California sun with this Utah weather... it's freezing!

Whenever I get in a weird funky mood I do one of these three things (jk most times I do all three):
1. Get away and talk to God; this one is always such a winner and never fails to cheer me up
2. I create a list of all the embarrassing things I've done the past week which always seems to give me a good laugh
3. Call the parentals. They always give pretty solid advice on how to get rid of whatever slump I'm in

we are quite the attractive bunch
S0000......

As a way to take a break from studying (don't worry mom, I finished all my homework already) I've decided to share a couple of my most embarrassing moments. Brace Yourself.

1. While at the testing center (aka the building where most prayers are said on campus) I was just sitting on the ground studying. Considering the fact that I have an incredibly small bladder, I decided that it was probably a good idea to use the restroom before I went to take the test. Since there were a lot of people at the time it was really hard to make way through but finally I made it to the bathroom and of course I ended up walking right into the men's restroom. My face got bright red as I saw urinals and way too many guys washing there hands. I tried to turn around and walk out as fast as I could---but bc walking into the opposite gendered bathroom isn't bad enough---I bumped into a guy that was walking in, tripped and somehow ended up on the floor. Luckily, the guy that I bumped into was kind enough to help me up as I thanked him and apologized. We both laughed and then I finally was able to get out and go use the ladies room lol.

2. You might have heard this one before but it was my first semester at BYU and I was sitting right smack in the middle of my Book of Mormon class. Any who, once again due to my small bladder, I had to use the bathroom half way through class. Since this was the first time this had happened to me I wasn't sure of what to do to go.. I didn't see any bathroom passes or sign out sheets like they had in my little high school (obvi bc it's college now). So I raised my hand and waited for the professor to call on me so I could ask for permission. I forgot to mention that this was also a class of 150+ people... So the professor calls on me and I ask if I could use the restroom. As soon as I was done asking, all 150+ people started laughing. I was so confused. My kind professor smiled and chuckled explaining that I was in college now and didn't have to ask, I could just leave... haha

3. I'm kind of hesitant to share this one because it's kind of mean and I still feel awful about it; like hecka awful but here it goes.. So I was in the Tanner building walking out of the bathroom and I started to text on my phone as I made my way to the stairs. Clearly not paying attention to my surroundings I ran into a little person and just completely knocked her over (and no I don't mean a kid.. she was little and clearly a student like me). She fell and immediately I tried helping her back up. I felt so bad and kept apologizing but she was so sweet and laughed and said it was okay. Now I see her all the time and I no longer text and walk at the same time! hehe

I feel like these three are enough to share at once. I hope most of you got a good laugh (and don't think I'm an awful person for knocking over a little person). Also, I did not mean for all three to be surrounding the bathroom.. so yeah.. a lil' awkward haha.

Smile Always, nicole
